About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous and analytical MIS Executive to oversee and optimize data-related activities within a prominent tours and travel company based in Goregaon East, Mumbai. This role involves managing extensive travel operations data including daily booking figures, sales performance metrics, and dashboard updates that facilitate data-driven business decisions.
Key Duties
- Gather, monitor, and maintain comprehensive records of daily sales, booking, and cancellation data to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare detailed weekly and monthly reports outlining operational and financial performance.
- Maintain and update internal tracking tools and dashboards utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and intricate formulas.
- Track and analyze inventory related to airline seats, hotel accommodations, and holiday package utilization.
- Conduct data audits to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring the database remains precise and reliable.
- Support cross-functional teams including sales and operations by providing insightful data analysis and reporting.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient in advanced MS Excel operations including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas.
- Prior work experience in tours, travel, or hospitality sectors is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret and organize voluminous numerical datasets efficiently.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with various departments.
- Ability to perform accurate data entry and generate reports quickly, adhering to strict deadlines.
Salary and Location
This full-time position is located in Goregaon East, Mumbai, with a monthly salary range between INR 15,000 and INR 35,000 based on experience.
