Position Overview
This role is offered through a partner company that manages all application processes. The Middle UX Researcher position is based in the United Kingdom and focuses on enhancing user-centered digital products by delivering valuable insights that influence design and development choices. Working collaboratively across teams, you will execute both qualitative and quantitative research, analyze user interaction data, and turn these insights into actionable strategies to improve products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and carry out qualitative and quantitative user research studies.
- Create research tools such as surveys, questionnaires, usability tests, and interview templates.
- Manage participant recruitment and organize user interviews and usability testing sessions.
- Gather, process, analyze, and interpret research data using various analytic tools.
- Develop research summaries, presentations, and provide actionable recommendations to cross-functional teams.
- Maintain and enhance the organization's repository of user knowledge.
- Engage in brainstorming activities to identify improvements in user experience.
- Perform competitive analysis and benchmark against industry standards.
- Help refine and optimize research processes, methodologies, and workflows internally.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research within UX contexts.
- Comprehensive knowledge of user research methods including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and mapping user journeys.
- Basic expertise in statistics and data analysis techniques.
- Ability to distill research data into clear, actionable insights.
- Skilled in preparing research deliverables like reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Familiarity with collaboration and design software such as Figma and Miro.
- Experience with remote user testing and research tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, organization, and collaborative abilities.
- Educational background or specialized training in UX Research, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or related disciplines is advantageous.
