Overview
The Medical Manager role, based in Singapore, supports the planning and execution of Medical Affairs strategies within a designated Therapy Area. This position involves providing scientific expertise, facilitating the design and oversight of clinical studies, cultivating educational relationships with key opinion leaders and regulatory bodies, and ensuring compliance with medical governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and with high quality to medical inquiries, creating standard response templates for common questions where applicable.
- Contribute medical and scientific perspectives to clinical trial design, oversee clinical research activities, and support investigator-initiated and non-interventional study strategies at country level.
- Review and approve medical and promotional materials tailored to local needs, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.
- Provide valuable medical insights to multiple cross-functional teams including Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Quality Assurance, Commercial and Brand teams.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks through internal controls within the scope of responsibilities, and ensure adherence to robust medical governance protocols and key performance indicators.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Medicine or a PhD in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related scientific discipline.
- At least two years of experience in Medical Affairs within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare sectors.
- Deep understanding of scientific communication, evidence generation, and medical governance requirements.
- Capability to interpret clinical data and translate findings into actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven skills in cross-functional collaboration within dynamic, matrix organizational structures.
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
