Role Overview
Louis Vuitton Americas is inviting applications for a Media Manager who will be tasked with adapting and delivering global media strategies throughout the Americas region. This individual will oversee all aspects of planning, budgeting, production, and implementation of campaigns across various platforms such as Print, Outdoor, Digital Display, Connected TV, and Lightboxes. The position requires a keen understanding of the media industry dynamics and proven experience coordinating with multiple agencies and external vendors.
Responsibilities
- Craft and customize seasonal media strategies for different channels in line with global directives, brand standards, and regional business demands.
- Collaborate closely with agency teams to enhance media plans, leveraging market-specific insights and opportunities.
- Continuously refine partner and channel choices to optimize campaign effectiveness based on key performance metrics.
- Administer comprehensive media budgets spanning various countries and formats, syncing with internal finance executives.
- Work alongside the Social Media Manager to ensure cohesive execution across all paid media.
- Harness extensive expertise in print media including current trends and strong vendor relationships; negotiate placement packages effectively.
- Coordinate with agency teams across Canada, Brazil, Mexico, and Latin America/Caribbean to guide print media strategies, make informed decisions promptly, manage budgets, and oversee production and traffic management.
- Oversee weekly scheduling for New York Times Sunday Styles, confirming placements and approving creative in partnership with the Advertising Assistant.
- Ensure monthly approval on media plans to guarantee timely media bookings.
- Negotiate positions, rates, and maintain media plans for leased department stores participating in their seasonal catalogues.
- Coordinate outdoor media placements monthly, including billboards and digital units, ensuring timely creative trafficking and adherence to specifications by the HQ team.
- Assess new opportunities in vital markets and stay updated on outdoor advertising innovations and trends.
- Manage production, shipment, and installation for all Outdoor Billboard creative updates.
- Engage with multiple digital media partners to build media plans aligned with campaign goals; negotiate media buys with detail orientation from planning to execution.
- Monitor campaigns, conduct optimizations, and generate reports for performance improvement.
- Handle approvals, logistics, and production coordination to ensure punctual campaign launches.
- Analyze post-campaign data to identify best practices for future initiatives.
- Collaborate with media agencies to manage TV and Connected TV planning and buys according to campaign requirements, including advanced/connected TV and cinema opportunities.
Candidate Profile
- 6-7 years of relevant experience, preferably with luxury brands or on the agency side.
- Proficiency in media planning and buying techniques.
- Understanding of media production processes.
- Strong budgeting and financial management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor.
- Adaptability to juggle multiple high-priority projects efficiently in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to nurture and maintain positive relationships with media agencies and external vendors.
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach.
Compensation and Benefits
The successful candidate will receive an annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 USD, with eligibility for bonuses.
