Job Overview
We are a manufacturing company seeking a Manager for our Tool Room and Tool Design with expertise in sheet metal. The role involves overseeing tool design, development, and inspection processes specifically for dies, while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop press tools, jigs, and fixtures.
- Manage the tool design and development lifecycle with a focus on quality, productivity, and cost control related to stamping dies used in production.
- Address and resolve quality, productivity, and cost issues resulting from stamping dies in production.
Candidate Requirements
- Hands-on experience in the maintenance of sheet metal dies.
- Practical knowledge of tool room machinery including lathe, milling, and welding equipment.
Eligibility
The position is open to candidates with educational backgrounds such as B.Tech or B.E. degrees in Plastics Technology, Automobile Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering as well as candidates with diplomas in Mechanical Engineering, Vocational Courses in Engineering, Production Engineering, Tool and Die Making, Mechatronics Engineering, or Automobile Engineering.
