Logistics Operations Executive / Distribution Coordinator / Warehouse Operations Executive

Role Overview

We are seeking a Logistics Operations Executive responsible for coordinating and enhancing logistics, distribution, and warehouse workflows to guarantee efficient goods movement, precise inventory management, and timely order fulfillment throughout the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics activities including inbound and outbound shipment coordination.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain smooth warehouse operations.
• Facilitate continuous improvements to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, transportation partners, warehouse staff, customer service, sales, finance, and other departments to streamline processes.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards and service level agreements.
• Manage shipment tracking, inventory reconciliation, warehouse reporting, transportation coordination, and vendor relationships.
• Use ERP and warehouse management systems to optimize workflows and performance.
• Lead initiatives for process optimization, cost reduction, and supply chain reliability enhancement.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Warehouse Management, or related disciplines.
• Proven track record in logistics operations, warehouse management, distribution, inventory control, transportation, supply chain coordination, or operations management.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, order fulfillment, transportation management, distribution and demand planning, procurement support, and recognized supply chain best practices.
• Hands-on experience with ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS) like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder, Infor, or similar platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel along with expertise in developing operational reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent business intelligence tools.
• Desirable familiarity with barcode and RFID technologies, warehouse automation, robotics, IoT, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), AI-enhanced analytics, and process automation technologies.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities aimed at optimizing logistics processes, improving inventory accuracy, reducing costs, and elevating service delivery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management aptitude to work effectively with diverse teams including warehouse, transportation partners, suppliers, customers, and internal functions.
• Experience in supporting ERP rollouts, digital supply chain transformations, Lean and Six Sigma improvement projects, warehouse expansions, and sustainability initiatives is highly beneficial.
• Understanding of logistics compliance, customs regulations, international shipping norms, workplace safety, and inventory governance is advantageous.
• Professional certifications such as APICS CSCP, CPIM, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Logistics Associate (CLA), or equivalent credentials add value.
