Falane Solutions Limited is hiring a Logistician Officer to support logistics and supply chain activities in Lusaka Province, Zambia. The role focuses on moving materials and finished goods efficiently, keeping stock under control, ensuring deliveries happen on time, and following company procedures to keep operations running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Arrange the movement and delivery of raw materials as well as finished products.
- Keep an eye on stock levels and plan inventory so that items remain available when needed.
- Communicate with suppliers, transport providers, and customers about delivery matters.
- Maintain accurate records for logistics, inventory, and dispatch activities.
- Oversee warehouse processes and make sure goods are stored appropriately.
- Monitor shipments and handle delays or transport-related issues.
- Follow health, safety, and internal company requirements at all times.
- Compile regular reports on logistics and inventory performance.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to support a smooth supply chain.
Qualifications and experience
The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a similar discipline. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain work is required, with manufacturing experience preferred. Familiarity with inventory control and transport coordination is needed, and exposure to ERP or other inventory systems will be an advantage.
Skills and competencies
This position calls for strong planning and organisational ability, clear communication, and effective coordination. The role also requires analytical thinking, practical problem-solving, solid Microsoft Office skills especially in Excel, the ability to perform under pressure, attention to detail, integrity, and a team-oriented approach.

A valid driver’s licence is required.
