Lease Portfolio Manager

Job Overview

The Lease Portfolio Manager will oversee the company's lease portfolio, ensuring all renewals, amendments, and terminations are completed promptly. This role involves maintaining strong relationships with landlords and supporting compliance with contractual, financial, and governance policies.

Primary Responsibilities

• Handle the substantial workload of recurring lease renewals, amendments, and terminations.
• Coordinate requests across departments that require landlord approvals, including signage, utility adjustments, and permits.
• Maintain a centralized archive for all legal documents, records, and communications related to properties.
• Address and resolve landlord complaints to sustain positive working relationships and effective company representation.
• Ensure all financial commitments related to leases, such as rent and service charges, are managed accurately and on schedule.
• Work closely with landlords during store development phases to resolve issues involving construction or utilities.
• Manage internal governance processes by preparing memos and official approval requests as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.
• Three to five years of experience in areas such as Real Estate Leasing, Lease Administration, Property Management, or Contract Management.
• Proven experience managing commercial leases including renewals, amendments, terminations, and landlord relations.
• Experience within retail or multi-location property environments is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Project teams.
