Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a new venture under the Tata Group specializing in manufacturing precision components. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd., the company is establishing India's first AI-enabled, cutting-edge Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will manufacture chips utilized in power management ICs, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU), and high-performance computing logic. Role Summary and Responsibilities
- Coordinate scheduling of activities involving customers related to planning, scheduling, shipping, and material acquisition during program initiation phases.
- Generate revenue analyses, annual operating plans (AOP), and other forecasting reports to support business planning.
- Conduct specialized studies and analyses concerning new product introductions or process enhancements aiming at cost reduction and improving yield efficiency.
- Oversee the creation and execution of production control functions, including master scheduling, production planning and coordination, shop scheduling, and dispatching duties.
- Develop, implement, and authorize systems managing material requirements, tracking work-in-process, controlling material and labor variances, and reporting on manufacturing performance.
- Authorize quantities, schedules, and part lists provided to material control teams to guarantee timely and complete procurement, receipt, and issuance of production materials.
- Plan, review, and enhance production procedures and manage related personnel.
- Maintain reports detailing scheduling, methodologies, production support performance, and procedural processes.
- Engage with customers to ensure delivery deadlines are met, and collaborate closely with subordinates, peer managers, and senior leadership for seamless operations.
Experience Required
Applicants should possess between 10 to 15 years of relevant professional experience in production and material control or related fields.
