Job Overview

Greenland Group seeks a dedicated Lab Technician to join ALMARAI Company in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on efficient laboratory testing to support quality control in food and pharmaceutical production.

Key Responsibilities

• Support laboratory tests to decrease overall testing duration.
• Perform assigned tests promptly to reduce product release time.
• Conduct on-line process control tests conforming to specifications to minimize product loss.
• Accurately sample raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods as per approved plans.
• Prevent result inaccuracies from contamination by timely cleaning of lab equipment following established procedures and performing in-house calibration and maintenance, ensuring high confidence in quality control tests.
• Plan laboratory expenses strategically to optimize resource utilization and stay within budget.
• Schedule maintenance efficiently to avoid equipment downtime caused by malfunction.
• Maintain strict Health and Safety standards in the laboratory to reduce accidents and prevent loss of work hours.

Educational Requirements

• Diploma in Health Technology and Services in Food & Nutrition, or
• Bachelor of Science in Food Science & Technology.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of five years of relevant experience.
• Experience preferred in pharmaceutical/medicine companies, food and beverage (packaged) industries, overseas companies, chemical industries, science laboratories, or groups of companies.

Skills

• Expertise in Food and Nutrition
• Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Production processes
• Laboratory technician skills including testing and equipment handling
• Familiarity with Food and Beverage production and preparation
• Proficiency in laboratory testing methodologies

Compensation

Monthly salary ranges from 48,000 to 70,000 Tk.
