Role overview
We are hiring a driven L2 IT Support Deskside Technician to become part of the IT function and deliver practical, hands-on technical help. This position is a fit for someone who likes solving real-world issues, supporting users directly, and ensuring systems remain reliable.
Key responsibilities
- Act as second-line support for deskside and remote issues involving hardware, software, and network problems that have been escalated from L1.
- Identify and fix issues across Windows and/or macOS devices, including laptops, desktop systems, and connected peripherals.
- Set up, configure, and keep workstations, applications, and operating system updates running smoothly.
- Handle user provisioning, permissions, and access through Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365.
- Support employee onboarding and exit processes, including preparing and retiring devices.
- Record and monitor incidents and service requests in the ServiceNow ITSM platform.
- Work with L3 specialists and external vendors when troubleshooting more complex technical cases.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk environments at L1 or L2 level.
- Good working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and/or macOS systems.
- Practical experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.
- Understanding of core networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Experience using ITSM tools and working within ITIL-based service processes.
- Strong diagnostic ability and a careful, detail-oriented approach.
