Position Summary
Reporting to the POD Manager, the Junior Recruiter independently manages the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned positions. Responsibilities range from preparing and digitizing recruitment documentation to sourcing, interviewing, extending offers, onboarding new hires, and managing administrative follow-ups. The role also supports recruitment process standardization, onboarding program enhancements, and recruitment performance tracking to ensure timely sourcing and hiring of top talent.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Autonomously manage the full cycle of recruitment for designated vacancies.
- Advertise job openings across various recruitment platforms, social media, and internal channels.
- Develop sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Screen applications and conduct preliminary phone interviews.
- Arrange and perform interviews together with Hiring Managers.
- Advise Hiring Managers throughout the selection phases.
- Prepare interview summaries and track recruitment decisions.
- Draft offer letters, promotions, and transfer documents post-approval.
- Maintain ongoing communication with candidates during all stages of recruitment.
- Coordinate the recruitment of interns with partner institutions.
- Manage creation, revision, translation, and updates of job descriptions.
- Assist Hiring Managers in generating new requisitions.
- Maintain a digital repository of job descriptions and recruitment documents.
- Oversee onboarding processes, including integration scheduling with hiring managers.
- Monitor completion of mandatory training.
- Regularly follow up with new employees and their managers throughout integration.
- Contribute to continuous improvements of the onboarding program.
- Track, analyze, and report recruitment metrics to evaluate process effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Identify trends and suggest enhancements to recruitment workflows.
- Ensure exceptional candidate experience.
- Participate in Talent Acquisition function improvement projects.
Qualification Requirements
- Education: Completion of BAC I & II; Bachelor's degree in Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years working in a related role.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in both English and French.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SharePoint or Applicant Tracking Systems is a plus.
