Junior IT System Administrator (m/w/d)

Position Overview

As a Junior IT System Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting and managing our IT user base, providing expert assistance in daily operations. Your role will include addressing and resolving issues at the 1st and 2nd level support, installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software components, and contributing to firewall administration and server landscape monitoring. You will also participate in implementing cybersecurity measures and maintaining thorough documentation of our IT infrastructure.

Technical Environment

• Operating Systems: Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Linux
• Software Tools: Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook), Exchange Server (On-Premises), Microsoft Dynamics CRM, PDQ deployment and inventory tools
• Virtualization and Backup: VMWare, NAKIVO Backup, Hyper-V
• Hardware: Approximately 90 users, 200 workstations/laptops, 50 servers, 20 printers and scanners, 20 iPhones, Sophos Firewall, 10 switches, 4 access points, virtualized phone system

Candidate Profile

• Completed vocational training in IT system electronics, IT specialist, or a related field
• Initial practical experience in relevant IT support and administration areas
• Strong command of German and good English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Quick learner with solution-focused, independent work habits
• Flexible, team-oriented, and strong communication skills
