Role overview
This position combines entry-level software development support with business growth responsibilities. The selected person will help build and maintain digital solutions while also contributing to client outreach, market expansion, and partnership development. The aim is to deliver practical, customer-focused solutions that support both technical and commercial goals.
Software development support
In the technical stream, the role contributes to the design, coding, testing, and upkeep of software applications, APIs, and system capabilities. It involves assisting with debugging, fixing issues, reviewing code, and preparing technical documentation. The role also participates across the software development lifecycle, from understanding requirements through implementation, testing, release, and ongoing maintenance.
Business development support
On the commercial side, the role helps identify potential new opportunities, researches the market, and supports partnership-building efforts. It works with internal teams to understand client needs, prepare proposals, coordinate product demonstrations, and assist in shaping strategies that improve revenue and customer satisfaction.
Cross-functional collaboration
The position partners with product managers, developers, marketing teams, and business stakeholders to ensure technical work supports business objectives. It also reviews customer feedback, market signals, and performance information to identify areas for product improvement and future expansion.
Qualifications and skills
Applicants should have a solid grasp of software development basics, programming ideas, web application structure, and the SDLC. Exposure to frontend or backend technologies is helpful. A working understanding of business development, market research, customer relationship management, and sales support is also valuable. Strong communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, organization, and adaptability are important for success in this collaborative and fast-moving environment.
Tools and working style
Comfort with spreadsheets, presentation software, collaboration tools, CRM platforms, project management tools, and version control systems will be useful. The role also requires initiative, the ability to balance multiple priorities, and a willingness to keep learning while contributing to process improvements.
