Junior Data Analyst

Role overview

This junior-level data analyst position is focused on turning raw information into clear business insight. You will help teams make better decisions by gathering data from different sources, organizing it, and analyzing it to highlight performance trends, key metrics, opportunities, and risks.

What you will do

The role involves building and maintaining reports, dashboards, and visual summaries that make business performance easier to understand. You will also carry out data checks, cleaning, and quality control work to keep datasets accurate, consistent, and dependable.

In addition, you will work with large datasets to spot patterns and improvement areas, then present your findings in a way that is easy for both technical and non-technical stakeholders to use. The position also requires close collaboration with teams across the business to support forecasting, performance tracking, process improvements, and broader strategic work that supports operational excellence and growth.

Qualifications and experience

A bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline is expected. Strong analytical thinking, critical reasoning, problem-solving ability, and a sharp eye for detail are important.

You should be comfortable using spreadsheets, analytics tools, reporting platforms, and data visualization software. Experience or familiarity with SQL, database fundamentals, statistical methods, and data management practices is an advantage. Strong communication and presentation skills are needed so you can explain complex findings in a clear, practical way. Good organization, time management, and the ability to handle several priorities and deadlines at once are also required. Knowledge of business intelligence, reporting structures, data governance, performance measurement, and process improvement is a plus.
