About the Role

Pronexus Consulting, a US-based IT staffing firm headquartered in Fremont, California, is seeking an IT Technical Recruiter / IT Sourcer to join their team in Jalandhar. This full-time position operates on-site with shifts covering day and night hours. The recruiter will primarily focus on sourcing and screening candidates for US IT roles to support staffing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively source candidates using platforms such as job portals, LinkedIn, and other online portals.
• Apply basic Boolean search techniques to effectively identify and filter relevant profiles.
• Establish and nurture a robust pipeline of prospective candidates for current and future openings.
• Perform preliminary candidate screening via phone calls, emails, or chat to evaluate suitability.
• Maintain and update daily reports on sourcing activities and candidate progress.
• Collaborate closely with team leads to accurately understand and fulfill recruitment requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Fundamental knowledge of IT roles and associated technologies.
• Effective communication abilities both written and verbal.
• Strong enthusiasm and willingness to develop expertise in US IT staffing.
• Educational background including Bachelor's degrees such as B.C.A. in any specialization, B.Com in Computer Applications, B.Tech or B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Business Systems, Information Technology, or B.Sc in Computer Science and Technology.
