IT Support Engineer

About the Role

Kazamer Tax Consultant is looking for a competent and customer-oriented IT Support Engineer to join our IT team in Dubai. The role involves providing essential technical assistance, maintaining IT equipment, and ensuring uninterrupted operation of our technology infrastructure, all contributing to a seamless employee experience and dependable IT services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and various other IT devices.
• Set up, configure, and sustain computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Identify and fix issues related to hardware, software, network, and connectivity.
• Supervise network performance to maintain system stability and reliability.
• Handle management of user accounts, password protocols, email platforms, and access rights.
• Conduct routine software updates, backups, and preventive system maintenance tasks.
• Keep inventories of IT assets and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Liaise with external service providers for equipment repair and specialized technical aid as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to internal IT policies and established cybersecurity standards.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• Between 2 to 5 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or system administration roles.
• Proficient knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 suite, networking concepts, and hardware troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with cybersecurity principles, antivirus software management, and data backup strategies.
• Familiarity with managing network equipment, printers, and general office IT setup.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills paired with a customer service mindset.
