Investment Associate - Real Estate

About the Role

An established Australian real estate company is seeking a skilled Investment Associate to join their Sydney office. The group manages investments primarily in private equity and private credit, focusing on real estate assets within Australia and New Zealand. This position offers hands-on experience in deal execution and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support transaction activities including financial modeling, underwriting, and comprehensive due diligence assessments.
• Develop and analyze detailed financial models for valuation and investment assessments.
• Prepare presentations and documentation for investment committee reviews and investor communications.
• Conduct research on companies, properties, and relevant industries influencing transactions.
• Engage directly with clients and investors, fostering relationships as experience grows.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess between 2 to 5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory, or fund management.
• Strong capabilities in Excel and financial analysis; candidates with backgrounds in Big 4 transaction services are encouraged to apply.
• Hold tertiary qualifications in Property, Finance, Commerce, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrate sound commercial judgment, excellent communication proficiency, and a sincere interest in the real estate sector.

This role reports directly to the Managing Partner and provides valuable exposure across high-quality transactions and investor relations within the Australian real estate market.
