Investment Analyst

Position Overview

Our team is collaborating with a prominent Private Credit Fund to recruit an Investment Analyst for their Melbourne office. This role is ideal for professionals with 1 to 5 years of experience interested in contributing to the origination, structuring, and completion of commercial real estate lending deals worth up to $50 million. The position offers the chance to work with a varied portfolio of real estate investments, development projects, and commercial properties, while growing within a dynamic, results-driven team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in shaping and finalizing commercial real estate loan transactions.
• Perform thorough financial assessments and credit evaluations of investment and development prospects.
• Develop credit submission documents and detailed transaction reports.
• Construct cash flow models and conduct in-depth financial analysis.
• Support the oversight and management of existing client portfolios.
• Coordinate the full transaction process through to settlement.
• Engage and collaborate with valuers, legal professionals, brokers, and other critical parties.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities to enhance existing client relationships.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in Commercial Real Estate or Property Finance within banking or Private Credit Fund environments.
• Background in Real Estate Debt Advisory, consulting, or transaction services is also applicable.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling and credit analysis.
• Strong communication abilities and effective stakeholder management skills.
