About the Role
AMMT is looking for a seasoned Inventory Controller with expertise in medical equipment management to oversee and streamline inventory operations. The role demands managing stock levels, ensuring inventory precision, generating relevant reports, and liaising with various internal teams to uphold an efficient supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the inventory of medical equipment and related items within the warehouse environment.
- Maintain and monitor accurate inventory levels aligned with business demands.
- Administer control over consignment stock with accurate tracking mechanisms.
- Execute regular stock reconciliations and physical inventory audits.
- Ensure proper storage, organization, and handling of medical items in compliance with safety and company policies.
- Initiate procurement for replacement parts, materials, and supplies as needed.
- Facilitate timely order processing and delivery coordination.
- Keep precise inventory records utilizing ERP and inventory management software.
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly inventory status reports, consumption patterns, and forecasts of material needs.
- Collaborate with finance, sales, operations, procurement, customer support, and service teams to maintain seamless inventory workflows.
- Address queries regarding inventory availability and orders promptly and professionally.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in inventory procedures and uphold thorough documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Medical, Supply Chain, or related disciplines.
- At least 3 to 4 years of UAE-based experience in inventory control within the healthcare industry.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and familiarity with inventory management or ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
- Exceptional attention to detail ensuring accuracy in inventory and reporting.
- Effective communication in English, both verbal and written; Arabic language skills are an added benefit.
- Strong coordination capabilities for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Efficient organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience managing medical equipment, surgical supplies, or consignment stock.
- Understanding of healthcare inventory methods and warehouse management standards.
- Prior exposure to ERP-based inventory systems.
