Role Summary
The Insurance Operations Executive will support senior leadership by handling day-to-day operational activities related to insurance, administration, and coordination. This includes managing schedules, communications, maintaining documentation, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, and travel plans.
- Support daily administrative and operational duties.
- Handle email correspondence and ensure timely follow-up.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain various reports and business records.
- Process new policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Liaise with insurance companies for policy issuance and servicing.
- Maintain precise records of customers and policies.
- Ensure prompt submission and validation of documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external parties for timely task completion.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Draft professional emails, meeting summaries, and other communications.
- Conduct basic research and compile necessary information.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Job Details
- Location: Lower Parel/Currey Road, Mumbai
- Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in the insurance industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of drafting professional correspondence.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Preferred educational background: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Engineering, Management, or related fields.
- Preference for candidates with prior experience in insurance operations or similar roles.
