About the Role
An exciting opening for an Instrument Technician VI is available in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, within the petrochemical sector. This role focuses on preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of instrumentation equipment, requiring strong technical expertise and leadership when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks for instrumentation assets to ensure operational efficiency.
- Manage work permits accurately, including issuance and closure.
- Diagnose and repair faults in instrument equipment effectively.
- Utilize SAP systems to update and finalize assigned work orders.
- Serve as a lead technician when delegated, guiding team efforts.
- Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards to maintain workplace safety.
- Review and oversee preventive maintenance procedures for assigned devices.
- Conduct calibration using handheld communicators or transmitters.
- Perform Safety Integrity Level (SIL) testing of instrumentation systems.
- Possess working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in instrumentation technology.
- At least six years of experience in instrumentation maintenance within petrochemical, oil, and gas industries.
