About the Role
This remote contract opportunity is with Mercor, a company that connects highly skilled creative and technical professionals with AI research teams. The organization is based in San Francisco and is supported by investors including Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey.
The opening is for a Keystone Education Expert who will contribute on a part-time basis for 15–20 hours per week.
Compensation
Pay ranges from $45 to $55 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Create evaluation tasks that assess how well AI can interpret engineering documentation.
- Design detailed, multi-step prompts using authentic workspace files and scenarios.
- Review model responses against clear, objective scoring criteria.
- Produce accurate, structured, and high-quality outputs from AI systems.
- Work autonomously and asynchronously while meeting assigned deadlines.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of background in curriculum design, instructional design, academic research, or teaching and training.
