Incharge Road Operations

Role Overview

This position is responsible for coordinating road dispatch activities, supporting smooth movement of material from the plant, and ensuring that customer orders are executed on time. The role also involves managing transport partners, overseeing yard activity, and improving fleet efficiency while keeping safety and cost under control.

Key Responsibilities

• Synchronize dispatch schedules with plant production so shipments leave on time and order commitments are met.
• Maintain strong working relationships with transport vendors and secure adequate vehicle availability.
• Monitor STO movement and supervise operations within the truck yard.
• Work on route planning, freight optimization, and upkeep of transport-related databases.
• Roll out road-safety practices and organize safety training sessions for relevant stakeholders.
• Improve fleet utilization while identifying opportunities to reduce transportation costs.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to support depot- and segment-level priorities.
