IAM Product Owner

Role Overview

Join HCLTech as an IAM Product Owner responsible for steering product development and execution within the Identity and Access Management domain. This role involves translating intricate business needs into precise technical plans, overseeing work prioritization, managing product lifecycles, and collaborating with a variety of teams to ensure high-quality product delivery aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications for various technology platforms.
• Oversee daily prioritization of operations, project tasks, and scope adjustments, resolving any product-related issues promptly.
• Lead end-to-end ownership of product deliverables, guiding products through ideation to deployment phases.
• Conduct Joint Application Requirements (JAR) and Joint Application Design (JAD) workshops with diverse cross-functional groups.
• Create, sustain, and communicate comprehensive execution plans and delivery roadmaps that support the achievement of objectives across program increments.
• Work closely with architects to define solution architectures, while managing dependencies and identifying potential risks.
• Inspire and coordinate multiple teams across operations, product strategy, engineering, and delivery to monitor product metrics and promote continual enhancements.
• Manage the IAM product strategy and its implementation by balancing stringent security demands, regulatory compliance, and user experience considerations.
• Elicit and verify requirements from stakeholders and project personnel to drive an integrated and comprehensive product solution.
• Translate and present technical concepts to non-technical audiences to facilitate clarity and shared understanding.
• Utilize tools such as JIRA, Rally, and Aha! for progress tracking and reporting purposes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant discipline.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in application development within Agile environments, functioning in roles such as product manager or engineer.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience converting business requirements into detailed technical documentation.
• Over 3 years of practical experience implementing solutions using third-party APIs.
• Extensive knowledge and expertise in managing IAM projects alongside marketing analytics and product management.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and familiarity with project management software, especially JIRA.
• Proven expertise in designing enterprise-level IAM platform solutions operating at scale.
• Experience with authentication and identity provider federation standards, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML 2.0.
• Comprehensive knowledge of security frameworks like OAuth 2.0 and JWT, with a strong grasp of web application security best practices.
• Familiarity with identity lifecycle management processes, such as user provisioning and de-provisioning.
• Awareness of security compliance frameworks, including ISO 27001 and NIST, related to authorization and access management.
• Understanding API security principles, encryption methods, role-based and attribute-based access controls (RBAC, ABAC), and authorization policies.
• Strong abilities in risk identification and mitigation concerning security risks.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
