Role Overview
The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for managing daily HR functions tied to operations, employee relations, onboarding, attendance and leave tracking, record keeping, and HR documentation. This role demands precise execution of routine HR procedures and responding efficiently to employee inquiries in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily HR operational tasks adhering to all approved policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Address routine employee requests and relations issues, liaising with relevant departments as necessary.
- Oversee new employee onboarding, ensuring all documentation and joining formalities are completed and coordinated.
- Manage attendance and leave records meticulously, identifying and resolving inconsistencies to comply with company norms.
- Maintain and organize employee files, ensuring all records are complete, securely stored, and accessible.
- Prepare and distribute standardized HR documents including letters, certificates, and forms per established templates.
- Process employee data updates, transfers, and other routine HR transactions systematically.
- Generate routine HR reports on records, attendance, leave, and operations as needed.
- Safeguard confidentiality and accuracy of all personnel information and documents.
- Support and coordinate employee engagement activities to foster a positive workplace atmosphere.
- Perform additional HR duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Between one to two years of practical experience in HR or HR administrative roles.
- Fundamental understanding of HR operations including the employee lifecycle.
- Basic knowledge of employee relations, attendance, leave management, and onboarding protocols.
- Familiarity with the Saudi Labor Law is essential.
