Job Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic collaborator with client organizations, integrating HR practices with business goals to stimulate growth and achievement. This role involves overseeing HR activities for new Rising Tide HR clients as well as supporting ongoing client engagements by offering proactive HR leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence. The HRBP manages various HR functions such as employee relations, talent management, performance oversight, and legal compliance. A hands-on approach to nurturing strong client relationships, delivering expert HR counsel, and executing initiatives that heighten organizational efficiency is essential. Candidates should bring comprehensive HR strategy knowledge, excellent communication abilities, and skill in managing complex HR challenges across multiple sectors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Advanced degrees or HR certifications like SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR are advantageous
- At least 2 years in roles such as HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or equivalent positions
- Over 1 year experience working as an HR consultant is beneficial
- Experience operating across diverse industries
- Strong familiarity with U.S. employment laws and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy effective HR programs
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and organizational capabilities
- Capacity to establish and sustain working relationships at every organizational tier
- Maintains confidentiality and discretion when managing sensitive data
- Expertise in HRIS platforms like BambooHR, ADP, Paylocity, UKG, Gusto, etc.
- Competency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications
Key Responsibilities
- Foster and sustain robust client partnerships to ensure satisfaction and uncover growth opportunities
- Collaborate with client leadership teams to synchronize HR strategies with overarching business goals
- Handle complex employee relations, conduct thorough investigations, and guide managers through conflict resolution
- Oversee recruitment efforts by assessing staffing needs, managing recruitment cycles, and facilitating onboarding
- Implement performance management frameworks, coaching leadership and employees to enhance outcomes
- Administer payroll and employee benefits ensuring accuracy, compliance, and competitiveness
- Identify skills gaps, design or select learning programs, and promote their deployment
- Ensure policies and procedures comply with labor laws and update them as needed
- Manage HRIS and payroll systems, analyze workforce data, and create reports to support strategic planning
- Contribute to HR initiatives aimed at program development and process enhancements
