Graduate Professionals Apprenticeship Program (GPAP)

Within TechBuzz Hub operates the GPAP — a practical skill development program offering graduates, career shifters, and holidaymakers a unique opportunity to gain two years’ worth of experience within just three months. The program includes mentorship, coaching, networking, and enhances employability, allowing participants to begin earning before completion. With selective entry limited to five candidates per cohort, GPAP aims to prepare participants for rapid job placement, with an 80% employment rate contingent on performance and commitment.

Role Overview

Starting August 1, 2026, the Human Resource Trainee position is a full-time, onsite role based in Kampala. The trainee will support various HR functions such as managing employee records, aiding recruitment processes, conducting orientation sessions, enforcing HR policies, administering employee benefits, fostering employee relations, and assisting with ongoing HR projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Academic background in management or related fields is sufficient.
• Knowledge and skills in HR management, HR policies, employee benefits, and personnel management.
• An understanding of recruitment workflows and employee relations.
• A genuine interest in business development and technological innovation.
• Strong organizational and communication capabilities.
• Ability to function independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Qualification pursuit or completion in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar discipline.
• Exposure to startup or innovation-focused environments is advantageous.
