Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Support compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards under supervision, ensuring alignment with local and federal regulations.
• Contribute to the development, execution, and upkeep of occupational health and safety programs, systems, and procedures.
• Help monitor potential workplace hazards and health risks.
• Collaborate in investigating workplace incidents, accidents, and hazard reports.
• Offer input on process improvements, design modifications, procedures, and equipment to reduce risks.
• Participate in safety training, emergency preparedness activities, and oversee program quality.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in health, safety, and environment roles primarily within major infrastructure construction projects.
• Essential hands-on experience with tunneling techniques such as TBM, NATM, Cut & Cover, or similar methods.
• Proven involvement in viaduct or elevated structure construction projects.
• Previous work experience in High-Speed Rail, Railway, Metro, or broader rail infrastructure projects is critical.
• Strong understanding of HSE legislation, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.
• Competency in incident investigation and identifying workplace hazards.

Preferred Certifications

• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC).
• IOSH Managing Safely or IOSH Working Safely qualifications.
• OSHA Safety Certification.
• Certifications in First Aid and Fire Warden duties are advantageous.

Additional Information
