Role Overview
This full-time, on-site HR Generalist/Payroll position, based in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area, supports daily human resource operations. Key duties include managing employee benefits administration, facilitating onboarding and offboarding, and maintaining accurate personnel files. The role encompasses assisting payroll activities by verifying timekeeping information and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company standards. Additionally, this role supports communication of HR policies, addresses employee inquiries, collaborates with management on fundamental employee relations issues, and works closely with finance and leadership teams to ensure precise reporting and a positive employee experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in general Human Resources functions and managing employee lifecycle processes.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, compliance standards, and documentation practices.
- Experience handling employee benefits enrollment, modifications, and communications.
- Familiarity with payroll procedures, time and attendance tracking systems, and basic HR information systems or related software.
- Excellent attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential data with integrity.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with an emphasis on service to employees and leadership.
- Capability to work on-site and engage collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced setting.
- Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines. Prior exposure to UKG Ready software is advantageous.
