Housekeeping Attendant

About the Role

Hala Arjaan Abu Dhabi is hiring a guest-oriented Housekeeping Attendant who can help maintain high standards of cleanliness and service. The role calls for someone who is proactive, service-minded, and comfortable supporting a busy hotel environment.

This position is located at Hala Arjaan Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect the day’s work instructions, room keys, and required supplies from the supervisor, and record the key handover correctly in the log book.
• Carry out cleaning tasks in guest rooms and bathrooms, handling all routine housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Ensure emergency exits and stairways remain clear and unobstructed at all times.
• Report any repair or maintenance issue immediately after noticing it.
• Remove litter from corridors and walkways.
• Vacuum carpets and upholstered items, dust and wipe furniture, and empty ashtrays and waste bins.
• Make beds and thoroughly clean sinks, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, mirrors, and floors; also polish brass and other metal surfaces.
• Restock bathroom amenities and guest room supplies as needed.
• Arrange guest toiletries neatly on the vanity and spot-clean carpets when required.
• Keep guest corridors, service pantries, and service areas clean, organized, and presentable.
• Clear room service trays and trolleys from guestrooms and corridors.
• Coordinate with valet services for guest laundry, dry cleaning, and pressing requests.

Qualifications and Competencies

Applicants should preferably have vocational training in a hotel housekeeping department. A good command of English is considered an advantage.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, considerate, committed, culturally aware, and willing to put in extra effort when needed. The role also requires someone who performs well under pressure in a fast-moving setting and enjoys working with diverse teams and guests.
