Health Safety Environment Coordinator

Role Summary

The Health Safety Environment Coordinator will support the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) officer in overseeing safety, health, and environmental standards within the workplace ensuring full compliance with WSH legislation and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the WSH officer in managing workplace safety, health and environmental matters.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant WSH regulations and standards on site.
• Carry out investigations into incidents and recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
• Manage and organize documentation such as site safety orientations and daily toolbox meeting records.
• Execute and reassess risk assessments to identify workplace hazards.
• Develop Safe Work Procedures in alignment with risk assessment outcomes.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and assessments across the work sites.
• Oversee emergency response activities, including scheduling drills, facilitating training sessions, and updating emergency procedures documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Health, Safety and Environment or a relevant discipline is required.
• At least two years’ experience in a similar health and safety role.
• Strong understanding of the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and associated regulations.

Compensation

The monthly salary ranges from SGD 3600 to SGD 4300, commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
