Role Overview

We seek an energetic Head of Sales to expand our early progress into a scalable revenue operation. As our initial senior sales leader, you will be a hands-on player-coach responsible for closing major property management accounts and establishing the sales team’s processes, quotas, and culture. Your goal is to combine data-driven sales tactics with personalized relationship building to effectively market AI solutions within the property management sector. Serving as a key partner to the CEO, you will shape our commercial strategy to dominate the HOA and multifamily markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design the comprehensive sales playbook including lead handoff procedures, scripts, presentations, and objection handling guides.
  • Achieve revenue goals by managing and closing top-tier accounts while generating a consistent mid-market sales pipeline.
  • Recruit, onboard, and coach Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives to support scale-up.
  • Ensure clean CRM data (HubSpot or Salesforce) to produce accurate weekly and monthly sales forecasts.
  • Collect and relay customer insights to product and engineering for continual improvement of the AI assistant.
  • Lead negotiations on complex contracts, balancing rapid growth with sustainable profitability.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience with at least 3 in leadership roles at fast-growing B2B SaaS startups; prior PropTech or real estate experience is highly advantageous.
  • Track record as a top closer, consistently surpassing multi-million dollar targets and managing complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Proven ability to build sales departments from the ground up including commission setting, territory planning, and sales technology implementation.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting AI value propositions effectively to executive stakeholders.

  • Resilience and enthusiasm for thriving in ambiguous startup environments selling innovative products in traditional industries.
