Head of Development

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Head of Development to lead the execution of an expanding series of upscale residential and hospitality real estate projects across Saudi Arabia. This pivotal leadership position involves overseeing projects from the initial feasibility analysis and business case development through to planning, design, procurement, construction completion, and final handover. The project portfolio spans luxury residential communities, hospitality venues, and destination developments across various regions within the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the comprehensive development process for multiple high-value real estate projects.
• Direct both internal development teams and external consultancy partners throughout every stage of the project lifecycle.
• Supervise feasibility assessments, financial viability reviews, master planning, and overall development strategies.
• Ensure high design standards, manage project schedules, commercial performance, and maintain stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate closely with executive leadership to influence and shape the future development pipeline of the company.
• Establish and nurture strong professional relationships with consultants, operators, contractors, and government authorities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading sizable real estate development projects for developers or master developers.
• Robust background in delivering luxury residential and/or hospitality developments.
• Proven track record managing projects from initial concept stages through to successful completion.
• Strong commercial insight, financial acumen, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience working within the Middle East region is preferable, though exceptional international candidates will also be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Real Estate, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a closely related field.
