About the Role
This part-time position, with potential to transition into full-time, demands a commercially-driven professional to spearhead profitable expansion through acquisition, conversion, retention, international penetration, and website optimization. The role involves overseeing partnerships with agencies handling Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Microsoft Ads, Klaviyo, Shopify developers, tracking experts, and CRO specialists. Collaboration with the Head of Marketing, who manages organic content on social media, blogs, and YouTube, is vital.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the commercial growth strategy focusing on revenue, contribution margin, CAC, LTV, MER, repeat purchase rate, and payback period improvements.
- Critically assess agency strategies, budget allocations, creative testing, and channel distribution.
- Implement advanced media-buying techniques on platforms like Meta, Google, and TikTok.
- Initiate and oversee new sales channels, integrating them independently or alongside agency partners.
- Identify and resolve conversion drop-offs across landing pages, product pages, carts, and checkout processes.
- Coordinate CRO, Shopify development, and tracking initiatives from inception to completion.
- Handle website reliability issues, such as outages and checkout errors, alleviating these responsibilities from the founder.
- Analyze creative content effectiveness, guiding agencies, creators, and the organic content team accordingly.
- Boost Klaviyo performance, repeat purchases, average order value (AOV), and customer lifetime value (LTV) via segmentation and cross-selling strategies.
- Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to enhance organic, direct, and branded search revenue streams.
- Lead international market expansion, including DDP, translation, localization, multiple currencies, pricing strategies, payments, returns, and associated A/B testing and project oversight.
- Utilize Triple Whale, Shopify, GA4, and financial datasets for issue identification and opportunity discovery, with a preference for strong tracking expertise.
- Set definitive agency goals, deadlines, and accountability measures.
- Plan event calendars to ensure readiness for key seasonal opportunities.
- Coordinate product teasers, launches, and post-launch execution with relevant teams.
- Evaluate external factors affecting profitability and customer acquisition costs, such as reviews and defect rates, collaborating with customer service and operations departments for continuous process enhancements.
- Adapt role scope responsively to meet the evolving needs of a growing business.
Success Criteria
The role’s success will be measured by profitable revenue growth, improved contribution margin, reduced customer acquisition cost, increased conversion rate, higher average order value, enhanced lifetime value, greater repeat purchasing, a larger organic revenue share, profitable international operations, and robust website stability.
