Grader Operator

About the Role

MACA Infrastructure is currently looking to hire a Grader Operator to join their team in Mt Evelyn, servicing the maintenance needs within the Yarra Ranges. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating assigned machinery safely and efficiently to meet production goals.

Key Duties

• Perform pre-start inspections ensuring plant safety before operation.
• Efficiently operate plant machinery to achieve daily production targets.
• Immediately communicate any equipment faults or defects to supervisors.
• Report hazards, incidents, near misses, and accidents without delay.
• Undertake additional tasks as delegated by supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards on-site.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest innovations for operational practices.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience operating Komatsu Graders and freeroll Rollers.
• At least five years of experience in maintenance grading along unsealed council roads.
• Hold a Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's license.
• Possess a current Traffic Control ticket.
• Familiarity with or residence within the Yarra Ranges Shire area.
• Strong dedication to workplace safety standards.
• Construction White Card certification.
