Role Responsibilities

• Design and maintain software tools that enable customers to plan, monitor, and interpret autonomous scientific experiments.
• Develop internal applications that support deployment, operation, and troubleshooting of our expanding robot fleets in authentic laboratory settings.
• Engage in full-stack development across React-based frontends, backend services written in Node and Python, and AWS infrastructure, delivering fully integrated features.
• Collaborate closely with scientists, operations personnel, and robotics engineers to deeply understand workflows and build user-centric software solutions.
• Contribute to shaping the engineering culture and drive the technical strategies for products revolutionizing life science research and development.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum three years of full-stack software engineering experience within product-oriented companies.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI-driven workflows effectively into commercial products.
• Strong skills in Python and TypeScript, alongside solid experience developing production-level React applications.
• Proficient across the technology stack, including frontend user interfaces, backend service development, and cloud environments, especially AWS.
• Proven track record of independently delivering complete features from conception through deployment.
• Self-driven with an ownership mindset; comfortable operating in ambiguous, high-velocity settings.
• Authentic curiosity about the products and end users you support.

Compensation Details

The salary range for this position is $170,000 to $210,000 annually.
