Role Overview
Joining Cascade as a Founding Engineer, you will be pivotal in developing a predictive engine that uncovers multi-billion dollar construction opportunities. Working closely with the founders, you'll deliver comprehensive features end-to-end and harness large language models (LLMs) to interpret billions of data inputs. This role offers significant autonomy and the chance to influence the company's technology foundation and culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and enhance an AI orchestration layer that forecasts major construction initiatives through analysis of complex indicators such as demographic changes and key life events.
- Drive the complete product development cycle from concept through deployment, delivering features swiftly and independently.
- Contribute to defining both the technical strategy and workplace culture, collaborating intimately with company founders in an in-person New York office setting.

- Possesses practical experience utilizing LLMs and a strong inclination towards managing the whole technology stack including direct engagement with clients.
- Exemplifies entrepreneurial mindset, with prior involvement at early-stage startups or having launched their own ventures.
- Located in New York, comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment prioritizing functional software delivery over perfectionist coding approaches.

- Compensation ranges from $150,000 to $250,000 annually, complemented by equity ownership.
