Financial Analyst

Position Overview

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role influencing critical business decisions by providing comprehensive financial data and insights. You will act as the main liaison to deliver findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, including the CFO. Collaborating closely with various teams, you will identify challenges, improve efficiency, and contribute to driving positive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, forecast, and oversee average inventory levels and inventory turnover for the merchandising portfolio.
• Analyze financial information and generate reports aimed at business growth and bottom-line improvement.
• Prepare financial analyses and forecasts to support sound business decision-making.
• Maintain effective communication by liaising with divisional and corporate business partners.
• Develop innovative and supplementary reporting solutions to enhance managerial problem-solving capabilities.
• Engage actively in the budget preparation and review process.
• Ensure company records are accurate and comply with general accounting principles.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of reporting systems consistently.
• Provide business value-added analysis that supports strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate across departments to conduct specialized financial and statistical studies.
• Demonstrate expertise in business analysis and financial modeling techniques.
• Partner with merchandising teams to create business-driving analyses.

• Minimum education requirement: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience required: 1 to 3 years
• CPA certification is considered an asset
• Work location: Toronto Store Support Center, 1 Concorde Gate, North York
• Work schedule: On-site Monday through Friday
