Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Exact Technical Solutions Company located in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia is looking for a meticulous Financial Analyst with substantial experience in Power BI, Power Query, and financial reporting tools. The role involves supporting the finance department by creating dynamic dashboards, managing budgeting and forecasting, and analyzing financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct financial planning and analysis including preparation of financial reports, KPIs, and dashboards using Power BI and Power Query tools.
• Support periodic financial reviews (monthly and quarterly) and perform variance analysis.
• Develop and sustain budgeting models and forecasting templates coordinating with different department heads.
• Assist in creating financial models for scenario analysis, project assessment, and controlling expenses.
• Design interactive and visual dashboards to provide actionable insights for executive management.
• Automate routine reports with Power BI, Power Query, and Excel functionalities.
• Ensure data consistency and integrity across all financial reporting systems.
• Maintain compliance with company financial policies, internal controls, and audit processes.
• Help with month-end and year-end closing duties, reconciliations, and preparation of reports.
• Support external auditors by furnishing necessary documentation and schedules.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; professional certifications such as CMA, ACCA, or CPA are preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of financial analysis experience, ideally in contracting or project-centric industries.
• Advanced user of Power BI, Power Query, and Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables and Macros.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms like JD Edwards, SAP, or Oracle.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and coordination capability to collaborate with multiple departments.

Additional Desired Attributes

• Knowledge of Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA) and IFRS standards.
• Previous experience in industries such as construction, maintenance, or industrial services.
