Field Service Technician

About the Role

Kadamba Sports & Fitness is seeking a committed and technically proficient Field Service & Maintenance Technician to handle the installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fitness equipment at various customer locations in Bengaluru. The role demands strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a client-focused mindset to deliver timely and quality service.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission fitness apparatus at customer sites.
• Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on gym machines.
• Identify and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Replace faulty components to restore equipment functionality.
• Conduct regular service visits according to maintenance schedules.
• Test equipment post-repair to verify safety and performance standards.
• Instruct customers on proper operation and basic upkeep of equipment.
• Prepare and submit detailed service reports following each visit.
• Keep accurate records of service calls, repairs, parts used, and customer feedback.
• Coordinate with service teams for scheduling and job completion.
• Maintain all service tools, equipment, and company assets in excellent condition.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and customer site rules.
• Travel to customer locations as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical faults efficiently.
• Familiarity with power and hand tools.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and manage field tasks effectively.
• Good time management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Basic competence in computers or mobile applications for service reporting.
• ITI, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related technical disciplines.
• Freshers with relevant technical knowledge or experienced technicians encouraged to apply.
• Experience servicing fitness, industrial, or machinery equipment preferred.

Personal Attributes and Other Requirements

• Positive attitude with eagerness to learn.
• Strong aptitude for troubleshooting.
• Physically able to handle installation and servicing tasks.
• Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits.
• Possession of a valid two-wheeler driving license is preferred.

Work Hours and Location

The working schedule is Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, stationed in Bengaluru.

Compensation

The salary will be aligned with company standards and the candidate's experience level, typically ranging from 22,000 to 24,000 INR per month.
