About the Role
Progressive Power System Private Limited is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer specializing in diesel generator (DG) set and engine maintenance. This full-time position is based in Belagavi, Karnataka, focusing on onsite servicing activities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance, including servicing and oil/filter replacements for DG sets.
- Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics to troubleshoot multi-brand diesel engines and control panels.
- Execute major repairs such as top overhauls, component replacements, load testing, and commissioning at customer locations.
- Maintain accurate daily service reports and provide timely updates to clients.
Requirements
- Possess ITI or Diploma qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Have a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in diesel generator servicing and engine repair.
- Hold a valid driving license and have access to a two-wheeler for commuting to local sites.
