Fabrication Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a Fabrication Manager responsible for overseeing the fabrication of parts for Thermal Turbines and Generators, ensuring top-notch safety standards, quality, and productivity by leveraging the 4M framework—man, method, material, machine—alongside digital automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute fabrication operations ensuring maximum safety, quality, and efficiency using 4M principles and digital tools.
• Manage production schedules by monitoring and analyzing output through the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle.
• Maintain quality control throughout manufacturing to minimize rework, applying 7Q tools and the 3H Japanese techniques.
• Coordinate with shop and plant engineering teams to guarantee availability and upkeep of essential equipment such as welding machines, positioners, CNC cutters, rolling machines, presses, furnaces, and blasting and painting facilities.
• Promote a safe work environment by implementing Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) methods, mitigating unsafe acts and conditions, and conducting Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments (HIRA) for various processes.
• Ensure compliance and effective deployment of Integrated Management System (IMS) standards including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001 through regular reviews and corrective actions.
• Facilitate skill development and competency enhancement for workmen, apprentices, and staff via on-the-job and formal training based on skill and competency matrices.
