Job Role and Responsibilities

The Expeditor acts as the crucial liaison between the kitchen and customers, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of orders that meet Nando's quality standards. Responsibilities include preparing and packaging take-out orders and serving as the final point of contact for take-out customers. Successful Expeditors are organized, efficient, polite, and dependable, working proactively with the team to surpass guest expectations and deliver an exceptional Nando’s experience.

Key Qualifications and Expectations

• Ability to follow directions and collaborate effectively within a team
• Capacity to maintain composure and efficiency under pressure
• Commitment to high-quality service including familiarity with food and beverage offerings
• Understanding of safety, sanitation, and proper food handling protocols
• Basic proficiency in English and professional communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds independently for prolonged periods
• Capability to stand, walk, and climb stairs carrying food items and dishes during shifts
• Endurance to stand or walk for 8-10 hours per day
• Good hand-eye coordination and physical agility including reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, and overhead lifting
• Must be able to navigate stairs in multi-level restaurant locations
