Estimator - Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)

About the Role

Monadelphous is seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Estimator to join our Engineering Construction team based in Milton, Queensland. This role is responsible for managing bids and estimating for E&I projects across Australia, providing key engineering and project management support. It is a great opportunity for an experienced estimator to demonstrate expertise and contribute significantly to our Engineering Construction Division on the East Coast.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full estimating processes, incorporating inputs from various stakeholders into a comprehensive master estimate.
• Scope and plan project delivery related to E&I engineering and construction.
• Coordinate with Civil and Mechanical disciplines to ensure cohesive estimate development.
• Contribute to risk and opportunity evaluations for project estimates.
• Present estimates during management reviews and engage with senior leadership effectively.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven background in Electrical & Instrumentation design, engineering, and construction estimating.
• Formal qualification as an Electrical Trade professional or an Engineering degree within a construction environment.
• Strong commercial insight paired with advanced computer skills and outstanding organizational abilities.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with InEight and WinEst software is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail abilities.
• Capability to prepare thorough Basis of Estimate (BOE) reports.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
