About the role

Allison Homes is hiring an Estimator to join its Commercial team in the East Region. The role supports the business in creating and delivering homes and communities that are commercially sound, sustainable, and valuable for customers and local areas.

This position spans the full development journey, starting with early land appraisal and continuing through pre-construction and procurement. You will produce reliable cost information to help the team make well-informed decisions and deliver projects successfully.

You will work alongside colleagues in Land, Technical, and Construction teams to spot risks, identify opportunities, and find the best-value solutions across developments.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to land appraisals and the preparation of development budgets.
• Highlight commercial risks as well as potential opportunities.
• Maintain cost data, carry out benchmarking, and produce reporting.
• Support procurement activities and subcontractor tender processes.
• Promote value engineering and cost-efficient solutions across projects.
