Ipsum is looking for an Estimator to help produce precise and competitive costings for utility and infrastructure projects. The role supports the Sales Manager and focuses on making sure estimates match client needs while also supporting the company’s commercial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and related documents to build detailed cost estimates
• Work with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to collect the information needed for pricing
• Request and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Evaluate the cost efficiency of products, services, and project options
• Prepare and submit tender submissions and proposal documents
• Keep cost records and databases current and accurate
• Assist with preparing budgets and financial plans for projects
• Ensure all work follows industry standards and internal policies

About you

The ideal candidate is self-driven, eager to learn, and interested in building a long-term career. Previous experience in estimating or sales is preferred, along with a solid understanding of costing principles, industry contract types, procurement processes, and common tools such as Microsoft Office and estimating software.
