Role Overview

The Estimation Professional will play a key role in electrical infrastructure projects by developing precise cost estimations, quantity calculations, and budgets derived from technical drawings, project specifications, and site information. This position involves reviewing tender documentation, assessing technical criteria, engaging with engineering and project teams, and sourcing price quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Responsibilities include evaluating alternative approaches, preparing competitive bid submissions, maintaining the estimation database, and producing detailed cost analysis to aid decision-making and project planning. The role is full-time and located onsite in Surat and requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure punctual, accurate estimates aligned with project objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven expertise in cost estimation and budgeting for electrical infrastructure projects, including quantity take-offs.
• Competency in interpreting technical drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), specifications, and tender documents.
• Familiarity with MS Excel and estimation software; experience with project management or ERP software is advantageous.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and installation standards pertinent to industrial/infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities for liaising with engineering teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Meticulous attention to detail complemented by analytical, numerical, and record-keeping skills.
• Educational background in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (diploma or degree), with previous estimation or tendering experience preferred.
• Capability to work onsite in Surat managing multiple bids and projects efficiently within a dynamic environment.
