About the Role
The Fedcap Group is inviting applications for the position of Employment Adviser based onsite in Blackburn, England. This role is integral to supporting long-term unemployed individuals by providing personalized guidance and support through the DWP Restart Scheme. The primary goal is to assist people in overcoming obstacles and securing sustainable employment, thereby positively impacting their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve targets and key performance indicators, including compliance and quality service level agreements, with ongoing support.
- Manage a caseload of clients via face-to-face meetings, developing SMART action plans and aiding job searches.
- Encourage skill development, boost confidence, and help clients shift their perspectives positively.
- Work collaboratively with external agencies and partners to address complex barriers faced by clients.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in roles focused on meeting targets or delivering services that comply with contractual and quality standards.
- Ability to relate well to and empower diverse individuals, including vulnerable groups with complex needs.
- Proven record in customer-facing roles within fast-paced environments.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines and keep precise client records.
- Resilient with a growth-oriented mindset and a strong commitment to positively influencing others' lives.
Working Details
The position requires working weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, at the Blackburn office (postcode BB1 1FB).
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting salary of £27,642 per annum, increasing to £29,407 after completing a 9-month probationary period.
