Electric Vehicle and Hybrid Vehicle Technician

Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position based in Qatar requires an Electric Vehicle and Hybrid Vehicle Technician skilled in performing routine maintenance, preventive services, diagnostics, and repairs on electric and hybrid vehicles. The technician will handle inspections and servicing of both mechanical and electrical components, ensuring vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on electric and hybrid vehicles, including thorough inspections and system diagnostics.
• Identify and repair mechanical and electrical faults, addressing issues in suspension, brakes, and other automotive systems.
• Perform oil changes and fluid replacements as per manufacturer specifications where applicable.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines strictly and effectively use diagnostic tools.
• Maintain detailed service and repair records of all vehicles handled.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in vehicle maintenance and repair across electric, hybrid, and conventional cars.
• Practical experience with diagnostics and repairs of automotive suspension systems.
• Competence in performing oil changes and other fluid services aligning with manufacturer instructions.
• Formal certification or technical training in automotive technology, especially focusing on EV and hybrid systems.
• Strong understanding of high-voltage electrical safety and capabilities in automotive electrical diagnostics.
• Ability to interpret technical documents, such as wiring diagrams and service manuals.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Experience working in workshops or dealership environments, preferably with exposure to Gulf regional market conditions.
